Agripas #3
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Agripas #3 on Agripas Street, you’ll notice it’s not trying to be something it isn’t — and honestly, that’s refreshing. This three-star spot sits right in the thick of things in Jerusalem, where the energy of the city practically buzzes around you. The building has that lived-in Jerusalem stone look that feels authentic rather than polished, which I actually prefer when I’m staying somewhere with this much character.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about this place? You’re literally in the heart of Jerusalem — not some tourist version of it, but the real deal. Agripas Street connects you to both the Old City and the newer parts of town, so you can walk to the Western Wall in one direction or hit up Mahane Yehuda Market in the other. I mean, the market is practically on your doorstep, which means fresh bread in the morning and incredible street food whenever you want it. The neighborhood has this wonderful mix of locals going about their daily lives and pilgrims from around the world.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was simple but thoughtful — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything you actually need without unnecessary frills. What struck me was how quiet it could be despite being in such a central location (though you’ll definitely hear the city waking up in the morning, which is part of the charm). The windows let in great natural light, and there’s something about waking up to Jerusalem stone buildings outside that never gets old. Air conditioning works well, which you’ll appreciate during those warm Jerusalem summers.
Daily Life & Practicalities
Getting around from here is incredibly easy — buses run frequently along Agripas Street, and taxis always know exactly where you are. There’s a small grocery store right nearby if you need basics, plus countless little cafes and eateries within a two-minute walk. I found myself grabbing coffee from different spots each morning, which became this nice little routine. The staff speaks multiple languages and genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests figure out the best routes to wherever they’re headed.
Why Guests Love It
Couples particularly seem to connect with this place — there’s something romantic about being in the center of such an ancient, meaningful city together. The location lets you experience Jerusalem like locals do, walking through neighborhoods where families have lived for generations, rather than staying in some isolated hotel district. You’re close enough to major sites that you can pop back during the day to rest, but far enough from the tourist crowds that evenings feel peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you end up having better conversations with fellow travelers because everyone chose to stay somewhere real rather than just convenient.
Hotels in Jerusalem place guests near light rail stops, spice bazaars, and rooftop viewpoints over Temple Mount domes.

Guest Reviews
I had a good time there, it has a good vibe, close Yehudah market.. fresh food.
What could be improved: The kitchen was not complete... there needed some attention.
What could be improved: las escaleras metalicas
What could be improved: La lavadora, el único detalle.
What could be improved:
What could be improved:
What could be improved:
emplacement
What could be improved: l escalier pas facile
The location is right next to the Machane Yehuda market and within walking distance to the city center.
What could be improved: The property is a small and rather high room. The top part is made into a sleeping floor. The height of the sleeping floor is very limited, a tall person will not be able to stand up there. The sleeping area is connected to the rest of the apartment by a staircase or rather ladder at a 60 degree incline. Getting up and down is not too comfortable, you will need to hold on onto the rail and carrying stuff up or down is difficult - this makes the dresser in the sleeping area a bit useless.
Some of the equipment was broken (a hotplate with a visibly broken ceramic surface) or missing (a TV remote), the property did not answer my message about this. The bathroom is super small and is difficult to enter and to get out of, since a toilet, a sink, a shower and a door opening inward are squeezed into a very tiny space.
The window did not close properly, which meant that the place was exposed to a lot of noise from the street, Israeli drivers heavily overuse their car horns. The window was covered by a dark curtain, there was no hook or anything to keep it in an open position. Less noise and more daylight would have been nicer.
What could be improved:
