Art Apartment In Mamila – King David Residence

The hosts were charming and kind. They promptly answered any questions and always tried to fulfill our requests. The apartment was spotless, and the location was great. There is a nice parking lot and swimming pool for the kids.

What could be improved: The facilities are missing some basic features. For example, there was no shampoo/soap holder in the bathroom. There is no heating in the bathroom. Some small wears need fixing. For example, some of the light switches did not respond well, the shades in the living room would not go down, and part of the ceilings required paint. We were given a door code for entrance …it was seamless. Yonatan was a text or phone call away with any question. The place was comfortable for my daughter’s family of four, and my husband and I and we even hosted my other daughter and her husband for a few nights. We were comfortable. I cooked just one night and found everything that I needed (except the food, of course!!) The place was well stocked with bedding and towels and has a great little washer/dryer with detergent that was supplied for our convenience. It was a fantastic location. Walking distance to most popular destinations in the city!! Loved our time! Oh -also loved the balcony space…perfect for my morning coffee before everyone woke up!!

The 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom apartment is big and spacious with ample space for 10 people, well maintained, and very good facilities provided. Yonatan responded very quickly to our many messages, and was always helpful and went out of his way to accommodate our requests.The view from the apartment of the beautiful gardens below was stunning, and the location outstanding - very close to Mamilla mall, a short walk to Jaffa Gate, a small shop close by and 2 supermarkets a few minutes walk. The facilities both inside the apartment and the building are excellent - lots of beds, extra stacking chairs, folding tables, heaps of towels, coffee pod machine, sandwich maker, lots of crockery and cutlery, reliable aircon, dishwater, washing machine and dryer, plus parking, security, couches in the foyer and swimming pool with life guard.

What could be improved: One of the beds in the main bedroom sagged and wasn't comfortable, the furniture and layout of the furniture did not allow the windows in the living room to open up, the invasive camera in your face, there was no toaster to make plain old toast (although I noticed that in other accommodation in Israel there was none either), the pool was only open for a few hours per day, the light switches were very confusing and several times while trying to turn off lights, the lights switched on in bedrooms and woke up sleeping people - it would useful to add labels in English in addition to Hebrew or a separate guide sheet for the lights. There was also construction noise which wasn't unbearable but was noticeable especially in the mornings.
