Brand New Flat – Shirat Haneviim
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Brand New Flat – Shirat Haneviim, you immediately get the sense that this three-star property takes its “brand new” promise seriously. The building feels fresh and well-maintained, sitting quietly on Shaul Adler Street in what locals know is one of Jerusalem’s most coveted neighborhoods. I mean, when a place scores 9.9 for location, you know you’ve hit something special — and honestly, after spending time here, that rating makes complete sense.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot: you’re in Shirat Haneviim, which translates to “Song of the Prophets,” and it’s genuinely one of those areas where Jerusalem residents actually want to live. You know how some hotel locations feel touristy and disconnected? This isn’t that. You’ll find yourself walking the same streets as families heading to local cafes, and there’s something really authentic about that experience. The fact that couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways tells you everything — it’s got that perfect blend of urban energy and intimate charm that’s surprisingly hard to find in Jerusalem.
Practical Perks That Matter
Let’s talk about something that’ll save you both money and headaches: the free on-site parking. If you’ve ever tried to park in central Jerusalem, you’ll understand why this is actually a huge deal. Most places in this area either don’t have parking at all or charge premium rates for it. Having your own secure spot means you can actually explore the city by car without that constant worry about where you’ll end up leaving it — or how much it’ll cost you.
The Flat Experience
The apartment-style setup works really well here, especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. You get that sense of having your own space rather than feeling like you’re camping out in a hotel room. The “brand new” part isn’t just marketing speak either — everything feels current and thoughtfully designed. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in, maybe grab groceries from the neighborhood market, and live a bit like a local for a few days.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both residential and special at the same time. You’re staying in one of Jerusalem’s top-rated neighborhoods, but you’re not paying five-star prices for the privilege. The combination of that incredible location score, the practical amenities like parking, and the fresh, apartment-style accommodations creates something that works especially well for couples looking for a more intimate Jerusalem experience. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city — it’s just trying to be really, really good at what it does, and honestly, it succeeds.
Jerusalem hotels keep pilgrims close to sacred quarters, contemporary museums, and fragrant olive groves in the Valley of Hinnom.

Guest Reviews
The location is great and in the middle of everything. A short walk to the old city and on the other side Nahlat Yehuda Shuk. The apartment has facilities for Shabbat. We arrived with two cars and Jacob was able to get us a parking spot for the second car as well. The place is clean, comfortable, has two bathrooms and has some basic things you need like shampoo and hand soap etc. If you plan on having wine don’t forget a bottle opener because we couldn’t find one :)
What could be improved: We booked the place for 5 people but only 4 beds were made and we couldn’t find extra sheets or blankets. Luckily we brought from home and it wasn’t that cold. Same with towels.
There is no reception or an easy way to get hold of someone from the property.

What could be improved: 없습니다
The guest apartment: “Brand New Flat” has a potential in several ways. Unfortunately following our experience, we will not return as well as not recommend the apartment to others.
In my opinion what is advertised as "brand new apartment" is irrelevant and misleading.
What could be improved: The seats of both toilets are shaky and need to be adjusted and stabilized before and during use (photo).
The living room carpet as well as the sofa have large stains.
The kitchen cabinet door hinge under the sink is broken (photo).
The bathroom heater switch is one out of 5 unidentified switches w/o marking. Allow time for guessing (picture).
There is no towel rack in the guest toilet. Several brown and ugly stains on the porcelain (photo).
Bathtub PVC curtain with acute reddish stains/signs of bacteria/fungus (photo).
Accumulation of dust and hair boles at the corner of the bad room (photo).
Bathroom floor with unpleasant marks of mop dried dirt stripes.
We chose not to fill and bathroom tub in order to take a bathtub. It has a large open hole without drainage (photo). We had to seal the hole with a nylon bag just for using the shower.
No hangers behind the doors or on a post to hang and ventilate used clothing.
There was no kitchen electric kettle for boiling water.
The provided internet connection Info. was incorrect. It took troubleshooting time to understand the situation collect and deliver the details to the owner. Following that the correct WIFI credential arrived on the next day.
There was a TV with large screen but we found it useless. I could not make the TV to work, to connect to WIFI or connect to my smartphone. No instructions found.
Annoyance noise from the apartments above. Constant moving of furniture and chairs. Children run inside the apartment above and in the long passages of a staircase also with rollers until late hours.
Immediately after washing the children dirty clothing the dryer did not work. There was no alternative available such as a drying rack etc. We had to improvise with great difficulty (photo). We had no choice but to use some wet cloth while going out to prayers. Although immediately reported the problem and spend time to answer questions but unfortunately the owner did not handle the matter properly.
