Grand Court Hotel
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to the Grand Court Hotel on Saint Georges Street, you immediately get that feeling of stepping into something special — though not in an intimidating way. This four-star property sits right in what locals consider the sweet spot of Jerusalem, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with the neighborhood’s character, and you can tell they’ve put thought into maintaining that balance between comfort and authenticity.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually in the best-rated area of the city, which isn’t just marketing speak. Saint Georges Street puts you within walking distance of both the Old City and the more modern parts of Jerusalem, so you’re not stuck choosing between historical sites and decent restaurants. I mean, couples consistently rate this location an 8.3, and after spending time here, I get why. You can grab morning coffee at local cafes, then be at the Damascus Gate in about ten minutes on foot. The area has that lived-in feel where tourists and locals naturally mix.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged without trying too hard to impress. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-brochure comfortable), and the bathrooms are well-maintained with decent water pressure. What struck me was how they’ve managed to keep things feeling fresh without going overboard on renovations. The windows offer nice views of the surrounding neighborhood, and you actually get a sense of the city’s rhythm from up there.
Breakfast and Practical Perks
The breakfast setup here is honestly better than I expected — they do both continental and buffet options, which gives you flexibility depending on whether you’re rushing out to catch a tour or planning a leisurely morning. The buffet has a good mix of local and international items, and the coffee is actually decent (you know how hit-or-miss hotel coffee can be). One thing that really makes a difference is the free private parking — if you’re driving in Jerusalem, you’ll understand why this is such a relief. Finding parking in this part of the city can be a real headache otherwise.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here isn’t any single standout feature — it’s how everything just works well together. The staff knows the area and can give you actual useful recommendations, not just the standard tourist suggestions. The hotel strikes that perfect balance where you feel taken care of without feeling like you’re in some corporate chain property. With an overall location score of 8.6, you’re really getting access to the best of Jerusalem without the premium prices of some of the flashier hotels. It’s the kind of place where you spend your time exploring the city rather than hanging around the hotel, but you’re genuinely happy to return each evening.

Guest Reviews
I enjoyed the breakfast. The variety and taste was great. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I will definitely choose your hotel for future. I am in the process of bringing tourists to your country. You are my number one choice for my guests. Hoping to do good business with you.
Very comfortable, clise to Old town and tram stop
What could be improved: All was great
Good location, nice swimming pool, tram stop almost next to hotel ( 3-5 min walk), good choice of food for breakfast, big clean rooms, helpful stuff. The hotel is 1 tram stop from Old town Damaskas gates or 2 stops from New gates or Jaffo street
What could be improved: Coffee machines did not work properly at breakfast, sometimes there was lack of water in the hall and in hot days you feel it.
Great staff, spacious and clean room
What could be improved: The food for breakfast was substandard
What could be improved: Pool needs open longer
Everything was good
What could be improved: Matras and breafaat area and smell in lobby
Great breakfast, nice lobby.
What could be improved: Front desk under staffed, pool was a joke 2 ft from end to end, full of screaming kids. Dinner should be explained as extra but worth it.
location and staff helpful !!

What could be improved: very busy and noisy at times
the breakfast
What could be improved: Some reception staff were not friendly
Newish hotel so things either, well constructed, spacious etc
