Jaffa 17 – Yahav Suite
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Jaffa 17 – Yahav Suite, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Jerusalem. This four-star property sits right on Jaffa Street — honestly, you can’t get more central than this. The building has that classic Jerusalem stone facade that blends seamlessly with the city’s historic character, but there’s a modern sophistication that hints at what’s waiting inside. The architectural details showcase traditional Jerusalem craftsmanship while incorporating contemporary design elements that create an inviting atmosphere.
Location That Actually Matters
I mean, when couples consistently rate the location a perfect 10, you know there’s something real here. You’re literally in the beating heart of Jerusalem — step outside and you’re surrounded by cafes, shops, and that incredible energy that makes this city so magnetic. The Old City is just a short walk away, but you’re also perfectly positioned for exploring the modern side of Jerusalem. What I love is that you can grab fresh bread from a local bakery in the morning, then be standing at the Western Wall twenty minutes later. The neighborhood offers endless opportunities for cultural immersion and authentic experiences.
The Suite Experience
The room itself feels more like a well-designed urban retreat than a typical hotel space. There’s this thoughtful attention to detail — quality linens, smart lighting, and enough space to actually spread out your things without feeling cramped. The suite setup gives you that sense of having your own little Jerusalem pied-à-terre, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to soak in a city this intense and wonderful. Each element has been carefully curated to enhance your stay and provide maximum comfort during your visit. The spacious layout allows for both relaxation and productivity throughout your Jerusalem adventure.
Living Like a Local
What really struck me was how the property manages to feel both polished and authentic. You’re not isolated in some tourist bubble — you’re right there where Jerusalem residents actually live and work. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood inside and out, and they’re genuinely helpful about pointing you toward the spots locals actually frequent. It’s that kind of insider knowledge that can transform a good trip into something memorable. The atmosphere here encourages genuine connection with the city and its vibrant culture. You’ll discover hidden gems and authentic experiences that most visitors never encounter.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.2 rating doesn’t come from nowhere — this place delivers on the fundamentals while giving you something extra. The location score of 9.9 tells the whole story, really. You’re paying for position here, and you absolutely get it. Whether you’re in Jerusalem for the history, the food scene, or just to experience one of the world’s most fascinating cities, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned to dive in. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually want to return to your accommodation at the end of a long day of exploring, rather than just crash wherever’s convenient. The combination of comfort, location, and authentic Jerusalem character creates an unforgettable experience.
Hotels in Jerusalem place guests near light rail stops, spice bazaars, and rooftop viewpoints over Temple Mount domes.

Guest Reviews
Perfekt lokasjon, rommet hadde alt jeg trengte for å lage mat. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit
What could be improved: Hadde foretrukket utsikt
Alles sehr effizient. Gute Beschreibung, leicht zu finden. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Gastgeber blieb unsichtbar, beantwortete aber alle Fragen per WhatsApp zeitnah.
The location is absolutely excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the historic old town. A market is also conveniently nearby. The manager, Noam, is incredibly kind, helpful, and always available through chat applications.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, there was construction work at a neighboring property during my stay, which was extremely noisy. However, this was not the fault of the apartment.
I travel intensively and have been to many places around the world. Only this place and a very few got such an effective, carring , fully available, pleasent , welcomming and nice person like Nadav the host is.
He has made the place to his high measures,
All the best
Samuel
What could be improved: The balcony that was not attached to the room and the balcony itself. But Nadav the host compensates for this by far.
The apartment is located in front of the old city and at the start of one of the main roads of the city center, just a few steps from the tram station. A few meters further, there are also some bus stations. The place is safe, private, very quiet and well maintained. The kitchenette is well provided with many items of cutlery, glasses, dishes, etc. There are the basic electric items for a pleasant stay, such as a hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and also a mini electric stove and a refrigerator. As well, items for cleaning are available (sponge, detergent, cloth and paper). The shower is spacious and the water is pleasantly hot. The boiler does not take too long to get warm and it keeps the water for long. At least in March. To enter the apartment there is a system of codes and keys, but it is very manageable. The owner will guide you through with any necessary information the first time! He is always available and friendly. There is a little luggage room in case one wants to place their luggage before the check in or after the checkout, which are flexible hours. You just need to arrange it with the owner.
What could be improved: The apartment is meant to be for a couple of backpackers. The space in between the bed, the bathroom and the kitchenette is very narrow. Only one person at a time can stay in the bathroom, and there is no space for placing the personal items, except for a toothbrush holder and a little space in between the wall and the toilet. We did not have space to place our luggage comfortably, but there is a structure to hang a couple of clothes and a few shelves, and there is a luggage room, it was just outside our doors. Although the bed is very comfortable, we had trouble sleeping since the bed and the blankets were in "winter mode", while outside the weather is warm. It was very hot. The lock of our apartment was a bit tough when we opened or closed the door, but nothing problematic
The location was perfect as the old city was across the road
What could be improved: A little cramped but just needed to be organized
It’s location. Was perfect for exploring the old city
What could be improved: A little on the small side but if staying for just a few days it’s not a problem . Close to everything
Everything is smooth, Host Noam is kind, efficient and very approachable. the location is superb, just kew minutes walk to Jaffa Gate, Old town.
No breakfast
The Suite is lovely and brand new.
Wireless internet, cable TV and many other handy stuff.
Great location 5 min walk from the israeli center of Jerusalem and just 2 minutes walk to the old city, it was 150 meters away from the light train station which we used quite often. We will sure be back
The host Noam was attentive and available to all our requests.
It is highly recommended
