Lovely New Private Duplex in Prime City Center location
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Lovely New Private Duplex in Prime City Center location on Ha-Rav Khayim Abulafya Street, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But you know what? Sometimes the most straightforward names hide the best surprises. This three-star property sits right in the thick of things — and I mean really in the heart of Jerusalem, where you can practically feel the city’s pulse from your doorstep. The building itself has that solid, welcoming feel that makes you think someone actually cares about the place.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about this spot — it’s got that perfect location score of 10 for a reason. You’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Jerusalem’s city center, which means less time figuring out transportation and more time actually exploring. I watched couples stroll past constantly, and it makes sense why they rate this area so highly for romantic getaways. The Old City walls are close enough that you’ll find yourself wandering over without really planning it, and there’s something magical about being able to walk back to your own private space after a day of sightseeing. The neighborhood has that authentic Jerusalem energy — not touristy, just real.
The Duplex Experience
The duplex setup is actually pretty clever, giving you way more space than your typical hotel room. You get that apartment-like feeling where you can spread out and really settle in, which is perfect if you’re staying more than just a night or two. The “new” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either — everything feels fresh and well-maintained. I appreciated having different levels to work with; it sort of creates natural separation between sleeping and living spaces. It’s the kind of place where you can have your morning coffee without feeling cramped, and honestly, that makes a bigger difference than you’d think.
Practical Comforts
What struck me most was how thoughtfully everything was set up for actual living, not just passing through. The kitchen area means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets (and trust me, Jerusalem’s markets are worth exploring) and prepare simple meals if you want a break from restaurant dining. The whole place has this comfortable, lived-in quality that makes it feel more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a standard accommodation. Small details matter here — good lighting, proper storage space, and windows that actually let you connect with the neighborhood outside.
Why Guests Love It
I get why this place consistently hits those high ratings, especially with couples. There’s something about having your own private duplex in the center of one of the world’s most fascinating cities that just works. You’re close enough to dive into Jerusalem’s incredible history and culture whenever you want, but you also have a real retreat to come back to. The combination of prime location, thoughtful space design, and that homey duplex layout creates exactly what most travelers are actually looking for — a comfortable base that enhances rather than complicates your Jerusalem experience. It’s not trying to be fancy, just genuinely useful and well-positioned.

Guest Reviews
We loved our stay!
The apartment is perfectly located, modern, and spotlessly clean.
Daniel is an exceptional host, attentive to every little detail.
It feels even better than staying in a hotel.
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was perfect
Best Location, Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host very kind and we had nice welcome.

Best apartment I’ve stayed in anywhere, and I love to travel.
Absolutely the best experience I have had with lodging in any of the three continents I’ve travelled so far. Elegant, thoughtful and bespoke environment to enjoy Jerusalem in. Everything was thought of—even a sewing kit. This lovely space featured design details connected to the region’s history such as decorative tiling and iron design, but also had modern flair. With two WC options, lots of clothes hanging space and even a lovely large balcony, there were many features that place this option above the rest.Hosted by an attentive owner, close to the youthful energy of a great food district—this property is one not to be missed!
What could be improved: My only recommendation (although the windows are a gorgeous design feature) is perhaps window blind or covering of some type added to the living room area to adjust night time light and reduce potential energy loss.
The apartment was amazing, everything is as brand new. So clean! Spotless. The host was very helpful and informative. He left us a welcome note and some nice surprises. I would absolutely love to come again and recommend the place and the host.
What could be improved: My boys wished there were a TV.
The apartments are great! The host is very hospitable and was always ready to help with different issues. The apartment is perfectly clean, has everything you need and more. At check-in we had a nice surprise: wine, chocolates and delicious cookies! Next time I will stay only here! Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation!
What could be improved: no such thing
We had an excellent stay in this apartment. The interior is brand new and pleasantly decorated, everything was immaculately clean, and the owner was happy to help with all our questions / requests. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The location is also perfect and only a few minutes' walk to the market and light rail station.
Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice apartment.
Excellent apartment with all comforts, it is new, well decorated, big and allows you to walk around whole Jerusalem.
Daniel, the owner, is amazing, taking care all the time about how I felt and my vibes at his place, he also gave me some extra time for check-out so I could move much easier without carrying luggage.
