Apartment in heart of Jerusalem
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Apartment in heart of Jerusalem on Agripas Street, you immediately understand why this three-star property scores a perfect 10 for location. I mean, you’re literally steps away from Mahane Yehuda Market β you can hear the vendors calling out their prices and smell the fresh bread from the bakeries. The building itself has that classic Jerusalem stone facade that blends seamlessly with the neighborhood, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want here. You’re not looking for some sterile hotel tower; you want to feel like you’re actually living in Jerusalem for a few days.
The Heart of Everything
What struck me most about staying here is how effortlessly you slip into the rhythm of local life. The market is your backyard β I’d grab my morning coffee from one of the little stands and watch the city wake up. You’re a quick walk to the Old City (maybe 15 minutes if you stroll), but you’re also surrounded by some of Jerusalem’s best restaurants and bars that tourists often miss. The light rail stop is close enough that getting around the modern parts of the city is actually simple, and there’s parking on-site, which β trust me β is worth its weight in gold in this part of Jerusalem.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works really well, especially for couples (which explains why they rate it so highly). You get that home-away-from-home feeling with a proper kitchen, which means you can bring back fresh produce and spices from the market downstairs. The rooms are comfortable without being fancy β clean lines, good beds, and windows that let in that distinctive Jerusalem light. I appreciated having space to spread out after long days of exploring, and the kitchen meant we could make our own breakfast with market finds rather than being tied to hotel meal times.
Living Like a Local
You know what’s great about this location? Thursday nights and Friday mornings, when the market is absolutely buzzing before Shabbat. You’ll find yourself becoming a regular at certain stalls β the halva guy will start recognizing you, and the produce vendors will slip you extra samples. It’s that kind of neighborhood immersion you just can’t get from hotels in the tourist zones. Plus, some of Jerusalem’s most authentic hummus joints and hole-in-the-wall eateries are within a two-block radius.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.7 rating really reflects what this place does well β it puts you right in the middle of authentic Jerusalem life without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Couples especially seem to love the combination of privacy and location, and I get it. You can duck into your own space when the city gets overwhelming, but step outside and you’re immediately part of the energy and chaos that makes Jerusalem so compelling. It’s not about fancy amenities; it’s about being exactly where you want to be, with everything you need to explore the city properly.

Everything was excellent. The location is brilliant: 20 min walk to Jaffa Gate, 5 min to Mahane Yehudah market, 10 min by light train to central bus and train stations
The apartment is clean, and there is everything as in a 4 * hotel plus kitchen appliances and fridge and washing machine
There is one bedroom and one living room with the couch
We stayed for two weeks in February'25
I would recommend the apartment and the owner. Thank you!
Pulita spaziosa con tutti i servizi
Kosher per Shabbat con plata, dud, timer e
Ascensori per Shabbat .
In ottima posizione per visitare la cittΓ o per prendere il tram e il treno.
Location was brilliant , included everything that was needed to make our stay comfortable.
Great location and everything you need in the apartment. Loved the washer/dryer.
What could be improved: The building is older and there is a smell coming from the bathroom drain. It was not the fault of the owner but related to the building. I bought air freshener and it did the job.
Very central position in Jerusalem. Close to the train and the central station. Many markets in area. Easy walk to meeting points for Tours and old city.
The location was perfect, close to Ha Davidka station and supermarket. Beds were good, shower nice and washing machine and dryer handy. Apartment is very clean. Our family of four would book it again!
What could be improved: There were only 2 mugs and 3 forks for an apartment of 4 people. The door handle of bathroom keeps falling out and the bath tap is dripping. If this is fixed we will give a 9!
It was clean, spacious, comfortable, central.
What could be improved: Could have included a toaster
