David Village Residences – Rental Israel
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking into David Village Residences – Rental Israel, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical hotel experience. It’s actually more like staying in a well-appointed apartment in one of Jerusalem‘s most coveted neighborhoods, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. The building sits on Eliyahu Shama street in David Village — and if you know Jerusalem at all, you’ll understand why this location earned a perfect 10.0 score. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of everything that matters here.
The Neighborhood Advantage
David Village itself is sort of Jerusalem’s best-kept secret among locals, though it’s becoming less secret by the year. You’re close enough to walk to the Old City when you want that historic immersion, but far enough away that you can actually get a good night’s sleep without tour groups marching past your window at dawn. The area has this residential feel that makes you understand why couples rate it so highly — there’s something romantic about wandering these quieter streets after spending the day in the bustling markets and religious sites.
Living Space That Actually Works
The accommodations here feel more like temporary homes than hotel rooms, which is refreshing when you’re planning to stay more than a night or two. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen setup, so you can actually cook if you want to — and trust me, after a few days of restaurant meals, you’ll appreciate having that option. The four-star rating feels accurate; everything works well and looks good, but it’s not trying to be overly fancy. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, with enough space that you won’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches — they offer free private parking right on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Jerusalem, you know this is basically like finding gold. Most places in the city center either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for it. Having your own secure spot means you can actually rent a car and explore beyond the city without worrying about where to leave it. The staff is helpful with local recommendations too, though they’re not hovering over you like in some hotels.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it balances independence with support — you get the freedom of having your own space, but there’s still someone to call if something goes wrong. The 9.6 rating speaks for itself, but what I found most telling was how many guests seemed to be repeat visitors or staying for extended periods. That tells you something about both the comfort level and the value. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having a real base in Jerusalem rather than just a room to sleep in. You can spread out, cook breakfast together, and actually live in the city for a while instead of just passing through it.

Guest Reviews
Welcoming guests, excellent beds and towels, all necessary household items in abundance. Parking next to the door. We stayed for Shabbat and found everything we needed. Clean, cozy, a beautiful garden for walks nearby and the old town in 5 minutes.
Big, new, comfortable, location, terrace 👍
What could be improved: Cleanliness needs to be more strict.
Great location, clean, in excellent condition, great staff!
Location
What could be improved: Lack of a bathroom on the first floor
Location was the best for visiting Old City. Great views of Jaffa Gate and Old City walls. Very spacious apartment. Rooftop terrace was a nice bonus.
What could be improved: Beds were very firm but mostly still comfortable. Quite a few small biting ants in the dining area.
The apartment is new and well-furnished. Great location: few minutes from Jaffa Gate.
In our apartments there were 3 bedrooms and big living room and nice small patio.
The owner was great, very friendly
What could be improved: Wifi was poor.
