Diana’s B&B
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up to Diana’s B&B on Hulda HaNeviah Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special. This three-star gem sits right in Musrara, which honestly feels like discovering Jerusalem‘s best-kept secret. The neighborhood has this authentic, lived-in quality that most tourists never experience — you’re literally steps from the Old City walls, but without the chaos of the main tourist drags. The building’s facade hints at the thoughtful hospitality waiting inside, with its welcoming entrance and well-maintained exterior that reflects the care Diana puts into every detail.
Location & Neighborhood
When couples rate the location a perfect 10, there’s definitely something going on here. Musrara strikes this perfect balance between accessibility and authenticity. You can walk to the Damascus Gate in about five minutes, hit the Western Wall in ten, but you’re staying in what feels like a real neighborhood where locals actually live. The property sits in what they call “the real heart of Jerusalem” — and honestly, after spending time here, I get why that 10.0 location score isn’t just marketing speak. The surrounding streets offer glimpses into daily Jerusalem life, with corner shops, local cafes, and residents who’ve called this area home for generations.
The Room Experience
The room itself captures that B&B charm without feeling cramped or overly precious. You know what I appreciate? The attention to small details that make you feel like you’re staying with someone who actually cares about your experience, not just processing another booking. The 9.6 rating starts making sense when you notice things like proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and windows that actually open to let in that Jerusalem morning air. Every element has been thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable bedding to the functional workspace area. The decor strikes that perfect balance between homey comfort and practical functionality that makes extended stays genuinely pleasant.
Breakfast & Hospitality
The kosher buffet breakfast deserves its own mention — it’s not just continental pastries and coffee, though those are solid too. There’s something reassuring about starting your day with a proper meal before diving into Jerusalem’s intensity. The buffet setup works well because you can grab something quick if you’re rushing to beat crowds at major sites, or linger over coffee if you’re planning a more relaxed exploration day. Diana clearly understands that travelers have different rhythms and needs. The morning spread includes fresh fruits, cheeses, and homemade options that reflect local flavors. Her personal attention to guests creates an atmosphere where you feel genuinely welcomed rather than simply accommodated.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it solves the Jerusalem accommodation puzzle — you want to be close to everything important, but you also want to sleep peacefully and feel like you’re experiencing something authentic. The Musrara location delivers on both fronts. You’re not paying premium prices for a central location, but you’re getting that perfect 10 location score that couples especially seem to love. You can walk to dinner in the Old City, then come back to a quiet street where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over tour groups. This balance is what keeps guests returning, creating a loyal following of travelers who appreciate the combination of convenience, authenticity, and genuine hospitality. The value proposition becomes clear when you experience how seamlessly Diana’s B&B integrates into your Jerusalem adventure.

Guest Reviews
We really enjoyed staying at Dr. Uriel's B&B.
Dr. Uriel is an extraordinary person, very kind and provides us with precious information about Jerusalem.
The breakfast is delicious. And the location is excellent.
What could be improved: The shower is a little small.
If you have any mobility problems, you may have a problem with the entrance stairs.
beautiful room, really tasty breakfast, excellent location and very kind owner
Diana's B&B is an excellent accomodation if you are looking for something special. Uriel is extremely helpful and makes you feel home in his place
We had a fantastic stay in Uriel's charming apartment right next to the old city of Jerusalem, just 5-10 minutes walk from the Damascus Gate in a quiet and quaint location. Uriel was an incredibly helpful, generous and knowledgeable host, giving us very detailed tips of what to see and how to fit everything in to our short stay and being a great companion at breakfast or for a glass of wine on the terrace, sharing some delightful tales of his life and the city. One of the best things about the place is that there is only one guest room (with a private bathroom) which makes everything so much more personable, like staying with family.
We can 100% recommend a stay with Uriel if you're lucky enough to visit this amazing city. Thank you for our lovely stay!
What could be improved: Nothing.
For taller people the size of the shower may be a bit uncomfortable. If you're allergic to cats then it may not be ideal. We found the cats lovely and friendly and Uriel makes a point of strictly keeping them out of the guest's suite but they are in the shared living space.
I had the chance to book this extraordinary accommodation last minute. From the beginning I received help in organizing transport and ideas what I could see. The location is spot on in walking distance to many sights. You will get help from Uriel all the time if necessary and in the evening a cinnamon tea with a little conversation about the day makes it all worthwhile. Highly recommendable!
Thanks once again for your hospitality, it wouldn’t be same without yours advices. We already told our friends that we’re lucky to meet you. Now we are trying to explain to our friends how it is in Jerusalem and that if they are planning to visit Israel 🇮🇱, your place is “must be” on map.
Once again thank you that was amazing journey through history and plenty of religious history
The owner, Dr Uriel Adiv, was extremely helpful with advice re daily activities and put together interesting daily itineraries including details of transport . Uriel also arranged a private taxi for visits to Bethlehem, Masada etc.
He is very knowledgeable . He also took the trouble to phone before we left home to advise against use of a hire car in Jerusalem and, on our return, phoned again to make sure that we arrived home safely.
Uriel is a fantastic host with lots of stories and recommendations. Breakfast is awesome! Location is just great. Furnishing of the place is lovely - even with a piano.
What could be improved: No A/C.
My whole stay I felt like was home. The room was beautifully decorated and showed the owner's interest in art and history. B&B was situated in Musrara where you can find beautiful architecture and gardens. The owner and his son were very warm and kind people. They helped me to get the most of the stay and I had a chance to visit incredible places which I would not have known otherwise. Very authentic Jerusalem experience. Highly recommended!
it’s easy to get around in Jerusalem. From Diana’s B&B we were in easy walking distance to the Old City. We most enjoyed our host and appreciated his knowledge and helpfulness with planning our visit. Breakfast was delicious!
