Old City Boutique Hotel
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking into the Old City Boutique Hotel feels like discovering a hidden gem tucked away in one of Jerusalem’s most storied neighborhoods. The five-star property sits on Bikur Cholim Street, and honestly, the location couldn’t be more perfect if you tried. There’s something magical about staying this close to the Old City walls — you can actually hear the morning call to prayer drifting over the ancient stones, and the evening light hitting the Jerusalem limestone creates this warm, golden glow that photographers dream about.
The Luxury Experience
What strikes you immediately is how they’ve managed to blend modern luxury with the historical weight of Jerusalem. The rooms are spacious by Old City standards (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in this part of town), and every detail feels carefully considered. The marble bathrooms are genuinely impressive, and I mean that — not the kind of generic luxury you see everywhere, but something that feels appropriate for this ancient city. You’ll find yourself appreciating little touches like the locally-sourced amenities and the way the windows frame views of either the bustling streets below or glimpses of historical architecture.
Location Magic
Here’s what makes this place special — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Jaffa Gate, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your door. Couples absolutely love this spot (they rate it 9.5, which honestly makes sense), because you can slip away from the crowds but still be in the heart of everything. The Mamilla Mall is right there when you need modern conveniences, and you can walk to the Western Wall or Church of the Holy Sepulchre without breaking a sweat. I’ve stayed in other parts of Jerusalem, and trust me, this location saves you so much time and taxi money.
The Neighborhood Feel
What you don’t expect is how peaceful it gets in the evenings. During the day, you’re surrounded by the energy of pilgrims, tourists, and locals going about their business, but once the sun sets, this little corner becomes surprisingly quiet. The staff clearly knows the area well — they’ll point you toward the best hummus place (not the touristy one everyone talks about) and tell you which entrance to use for the Old City depending on what you want to see. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes a difference when you’re trying to make the most of your time in Jerusalem.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.9 rating really reflects what you experience here — it’s not just about the luxury amenities, though those are certainly there. It’s about waking up in a place where you can step outside and immediately feel connected to thousands of years of history. The recent guests who rated the location 9.6 aren’t exaggerating; you really can’t do better if you want to experience Jerusalem’s Old City without sacrificing comfort. Whether you’re here for religious reasons, historical interest, or just want to soak up one of the world’s most unique cities, the Old City Boutique Hotel puts you exactly where you need to be.

Guest Reviews
Excellent, great location, clean, spiritual
Efraim was extremely accommodating. He went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations by accommodating our last-minute need for a larger room and meeting us at the Gate to help with our numerous and heave luggage. His cleaning was impeccable and was his response to everything requested.
What could be improved: Absolutely nothing.
This is the only property I use when visiting Jerusalem, and that is why I keep coming back year after year. I love being in the Old City and this property is only a short walk to all the Holy Sites in the city. The Owner and Efraim the property manager offer excellent hospitality. The rooms are great and provide everything I need.
What could be improved: Nothing
This boutique hotel is in a great location in the Old City of Jerusalem within close walking distance to everything. It is very clean and the rooms are well appointed and spacious with very comfortable beds. There is wonderful rooftop access with tables and seating and great views. We have stayed here a few times, and we love it ❤️
What could be improved: Location. Easy access to everything but also very private.
