REENE Boutique Suites The Milano Suite Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to REENE Boutique Suites The Milano Suite on Yosef Rivlin Street, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical three-star hotel. The building has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with the upscale neighborhood vibe — honestly, I was surprised by how sophisticated it felt for the price point. The entrance is intimate rather than grand, which actually works in its favor since it creates this boutique atmosphere from the moment you step inside.

Prime Jerusalem Location

The location is genuinely fantastic, and I mean that — you’re right in the heart of Jerusalem but on a quieter residential street that locals actually know about. Yosef Rivlin puts you within walking distance of both the Old City and the modern city center, which is honestly the sweet spot for exploring. What I really appreciated is that you can easily walk to major sites without dealing with the chaos of staying directly on the main tourist strips. The neighborhood has that authentic Jerusalem character with stone buildings and tree-lined streets that make evening strolls actually enjoyable.

The Suite Experience

The room — well, suite really — surprised me with how thoughtfully designed it was. You get a proper living area separate from the bedroom, which makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. The Milano Suite theme comes through in the decor without being over the top about it, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. The kitchenette is compact but functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Machane Yehuda market and prepare simple meals.

Practical Comforts

What really works here are the little details that show someone was thinking about what travelers actually need. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the suite, the air conditioning keeps up with Jerusalem summers, and the bathroom has good water pressure — you know, the basics that can make or break a stay. I also noticed they’ve invested in quality linens and towels, which isn’t always a given at this price point. The parking situation is manageable too, though like anywhere in central Jerusalem, you’ll want to ask about options when you book.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.9 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s that rare combination of location, comfort, and value that’s hard to find in Jerusalem. Couples particularly seem to appreciate the intimate scale and the fact that you feel like you’re staying in a stylish apartment rather than a generic hotel room. The staff knows the area well and can point you toward the good local spots that aren’t necessarily in guidebooks. For the price, you’re getting boutique hotel style in one of Jerusalem’s most desirable neighborhoods, which honestly feels like finding a hidden gem in a city where good accommodation can be surprisingly expensive.

Locals suggest to book apartments in Jerusalem around the German Colony for café patios, boutique galleries, and leafy bike paths.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Yavor from Bulgaria – 9 September 2024 (9/10)

The location of the suite is absolutely perfect for going everywhere on foot. It's located in a central and lively part of the city, close to the old city, close to trains and close to many bars and shops. The vibe and energy of the apartment itself is amazing, with nice furniture and some thematic toys and tech here and there. Really nice atmosphere. It has everything you need, is clean and the Internet is great. Would definitely go there again, if I visit again.

  • Lars from Sweden – 26 September 2023 (9/10)

Clean, nice furniture, spacious and good location.

  • Sabrina from Argentina – 24 June 2023 (9/10)

The location, the building and the bed 👌

What could be improved: The shower without a floor division it’s a bit uncomfortable and after having a shower you have to be very careful to not make a mess.

  • Kamila from Poland – 18 May 2023 (9/10)

Amazing place, located in a small, old-town like tenement house with a beautiful entrance. Ten minutes walk from the Old City, around 30 minutes walk from the Central Station. The alley, in which the apartment is located, is connected directly with Jaffa Street, which is a main street, which leads to the Old City. Inside was everything, what we needed: towels, shower gels, shampoo, but also small kitchen with the fridge, two microwave oven and a capsule coffee maker.
Attention! Despite the fact, that on booking it is written, that wi-fi is not available, it is provided by the owner. The name of the internet connection and the password is written on the sheet inside the apartment. I just wish that the air conditioning would working better, but maybe I am also not used to such a temperature (was around 36 Celsius during our stay outside).

  • Ksenia from Cyprus – 12 May 2023 (9/10)

the owner is really great – responsive and meeting all my needs half-way. The location was superb for my business activities in the city centre

  • Rafal from Poland – 7 May 2023 (9/10)

Close to the city centre, quiet place that has everything you need for short stay. Good price and very helpful host. We have struggled during shabat with getting in to Haifa as the fisrst bus was at 9pm and host let us to leave our lagguage in safe place so we didnt have to carry all the things with us for whole day.. Thank you:)

  • Leah from United Kingdom – 29 April 2023 (9/10)

This is such a lovely and unique apartment. It was really comfortable and in a great location. Easy to get to and a really quiet area however very close to amenities, shops and restaurants. It is near the tramline so good transport links and only a short walk into the old town.

There was a brief power cut one day but the owner resolved it really quickly and was really communicative so that was really reassuring. Highly recommend this place!

    What could be improved: Nothing!

  • Trifan from Romania – 26 February 2023 (9/10)

Everything was enjoyable, good taste and very cozy

What could be improved: Due to the small window and the boiler, there is too much air humidity. Unless you have allergies it's not a problem

  • William from United States – 7 February 2023 (9/10)

Well stocked cozy apartment very close to the Jaffa gate.
