REENE Boutique Suites The Private Room Suite
Your Jerusalem Stay
First Impressions
Walking up Yosef Rivlin Street, you might almost miss REENE Boutique Suites The Private Room Suite — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star boutique property sits quietly in one of Jerusalem‘s most coveted neighborhoods, where the energy of the city center meets the intimacy of a residential street. The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical hotel experience. It’s more like staying in a carefully curated private residence that happens to welcome guests.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what the location score of 9.3 really means in practice — you can walk to Jaffa Gate in about eight minutes, hit Ben Yehuda Street for late-night snacks in five, and reach the Western Wall in roughly fifteen minutes on foot. But you know what I love most about this spot? You’re tucked away from the tourist chaos while still being right in the thick of things. The Rivlin Street area has this wonderful mix of local cafes, small galleries, and residential life that gives you a genuine feel for how Jerusalemites actually live. Couples especially seem to get this — they’ve rated the location 9.1, and I can see why.
The Suite Experience
The room itself feels more like a well-appointed urban apartment than a hotel space. There’s thoughtful design everywhere — not the kind that screams “look at me,” but the subtle touches that make you feel settled rather than just passing through. The private suite setup means you get genuine privacy and space to spread out, which is honestly refreshing after dealing with Jerusalem’s intensity all day. The boutique approach shows in the details — quality linens, carefully chosen furniture, and that sense that someone actually thought about how you’d want to live in this space.
The Neighborhood Vibe
What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to Jerusalem’s rhythm. Step outside and you’re immediately in one of the city’s most authentic quarters — not the sanitized tourist version, but the real deal where locals grab their morning coffee and kids play in small courtyards. The Nahalat Shiva area is right there, with its mix of traditional and contemporary Jerusalem culture. You’ll find yourself discovering small restaurant gems and artisan shops that most visitors never stumble across. It’s the kind of location where you start to feel like a temporary resident rather than just another tourist checking boxes.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.7 rating tells the real story here — this isn’t about flashy amenities or over-the-top service. It’s about getting the fundamentals exactly right in a city where location and authenticity matter more than marble bathrooms. You’re paying for that rare combination of central accessibility and genuine local character. The private suite concept works particularly well in Jerusalem, where having a quiet retreat after days of exploring ancient streets and navigating crowds becomes genuinely valuable. It’s the kind of place you’d actually want to return to, not just because it’s well-located, but because it feels like your own little corner of this incredible, overwhelming city.

Guest Reviews
16th time to Israel and this is best location in my humble view. Very cool 80s theme and didn't feel like Jerusalem. It felt like cool 😎 friends house
What could be improved: Perfect
It's such a charming place with a warm, attentive host. The location is extremely convenient; the studio is tastefully decorated. Yossi provided many thoughtful touches and was extremely responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a good stay. Much appreciated!
What could be improved: The WiFi could be faster.
Good value for money. Great location, in the center of Jerusalem in a historic building. Retro and nostalgic design. Even though the place is small there is almost everything that is needed.
What could be improved: The kitchen is too small if you want to cook, but it is understandable. There is no place to put clothes.
The apartment was confortable and the location was excellent
Great location
What could be improved: A bit noisy
Location was perfect
What could be improved: Noisy at night, bed not comfortable
I would like to live here, this small apartment is perfect for staying in Gerusalem!
Good location, nice neighborhood with a small pub nearby that was opened during the holiday (and there are very few restaurants where you can get food during Sabbath or Shavuot) very nicely decorated. Nice terrace.
good location and safe
we had an upgrade to the biggest studio they had, and we had such an amazing time. the quality of the furniture was amazing, the little terrace was great, and the atmosphere of the exterior cour was amazing. we loved it !!
Easy access to the walled city and the attention offered by the owner.
What could be improved: La ventilation.
